That's normal in big tech. I had a perfect Microsoft interview but the fourth interviewer was a Asian Women who said she was passionate about diversity and liked interviewing because she could make a difference. Me as a white man knew I had no chance after that.

another comment: over the summer people became aware that ddg was owned by leftists, so a lot of people jumped ship to another search engine anticipating this kind of thing like in the OP would happen eventually

I heard similar things from many big corporations (i.e. FAANG) HR departments. Luckily, smaller - mid-sized companies still tend to focus more on the actual skills of their applicants.
