Sometimes you see a nice job and start imagining your life if you got it. I saw a nice communications job that could be based in the Morewell/Moe area. It would be nice to live in a small town with no commute and a cushy corporate job, but you canāt get too carried away with these things.
Iāve been fucked over by the job hunt in almost every way imaginable so I donāt believe I have a job until I receive the first paycheck

Thatās the trap I fall into. Start daydreaming about what itāll be like, what the co-workers will be like, what Iāll spend my first paycheck on etc etc
Iāve had 2 contracts withdrawn after my police check came back with a shoplifting fine from 9 years ago. Literally had the job, but apparently making a mistake while really fucked up is enough to scare clients.
That really hurt.
