If you are any level of "foodie" or enjoy cooking, it's a no-brainer. A dramedy based around a high-level chef and his various experiences in restaurants of varying levels (I'm trying not to spoil anything, so not the best description). The writing is very good--the characters feel like people, and every character gets meaningful development. As a result, when things go wrong, the show can be more stressful than anything on TV ever (looking at you, "Fishes"). But despite that, in both seasons, but particularly in Season 2, they go really hard on the positivity. It sounds corny, but they knock it out of the park. You feel like you're cheering for your buddies. I found the whole thing so refreshing.

Finally, if that doesn't sell you, it's got a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
