FarraigePlaisteach@lemmy.world 2 weeks agoWould you mind elaborating? No pressure. I spent time there as a kid in the 90s and have a lot of nostalgia for the place, but I haven’t engaged with the place as an adult and I’m way out of touch so I’m genuinely curious.

I went to Athens not too long ago. There were so many homeless and poor people. I don’t know if the country has ever really recovered from the financial crisis.
