Comment on Small children are well known to be afraid of voids (closets, under the bed) in their sleeping area. Knowing this, why don't we design children's rooms to eliminate them?

There are a lot of bed frames that are solid, though, including the one I use at home. If it causes any ill effects on the mattress I haven’t observed it personally.
