You remember the Obama years differently than I do.
I think it’s a matter of scale, back in 2014 they were scumbags with a thin veneer of “decency” that veneer got sandblasted off and now there’s only a bag of hate left.
There were popular Facebook memes of the white house lawn being a watermelon patch.
