Which is just fucking horrible. They’re addicts because of the way human brains work, addicts can and do stay addicts inside prison too, so that’s also not a justifiable solution.
Unfortunately you’re just buying years of conservative propaganda funded by for-profit prisons.
Your ideology is what is degrading the country.
That’s just like, your opinion man.
You expect everyone to give you a handout rather than working for things.
Nope you’re just parroting right-wing talking points. I genuinely want us all to succeed. That means helping the less fortunate ones or those struggling. That doesn’t mean “handouts”. That means what we pay into the government I want to see benefit all of society. Even the ones you don’t want to look at. That’s all.
One ideology is based on earning things and the other is about taking things from others.
This is like, a 2nd grade-level take on the difference.
Once again, it isn’t a culture war. It’s a class war.

No, that’s a fact. The red states are flourishing, and people are moving there in mass. Those states generally share my values.
I am very much in the class that I think I am, but we are not in the same socioeconomic class by a long shot. That is because I didn’t expect people to give me handouts, nor do I want a nanny state.

You don’t have to dude. Most new prisoners are being sent to for-profit prisons. The amount of prisoners in the system have been doubling decade over decade since the 80’s.
This just shows how clueless you are to the actual situation. Clearly throwing people we don’t like in prison isn’t fixing anything.
It’s en masse, and they’re actually leaving. That’s why blue states are seeing their population numbers increase and housing is getting tougher to find. There are more people because red states keep passing asinine laws that are just there for posturing and don’t actually help anyone. Don’t believe me? Go move to Florida idgaf hahaha.

And wow congratulations, you found 2 blue states that have seen a little decline in recent years but fail to recognize the trend over the past decade of those places, and also fail to see how the small decline in population of two blue states doesn’t refute my statement.
