  It’s just an interface element suggesting their product, I don’t find it that intrusive for having to be an opt in option

    If they inject links into web pages, they can change anything else, meaning they xan’t be trusted.

        That is different, you install addons deliberately, a deafult setting in a browser is not an active choice.
