I think a tradie came to do something or another earlier this morning. I say I think because I didnât answer the door. Sounds like a bit of a dick move, but Iâm not allowed to let tradies in without the program leader being present, and I canât sign off or agree to their work. They know that they have to call her first (itâs in the contract they have with the company and always put in the job notes) or they donât come in, but they never do. And theyâre usually, well⌠Tradies, so I donât bother anymore

Was wide awake until almost 4am and completely forgot an electrician was coming to fix my flickering downlights at 8:30am. He arrived 3 minutes early (my alarm goes off at 8:30am) and it scared the shit out of me. My door buzzer thing (itâs more of a ringing than a buzz) very rarely goes off these days so I spent a good 20 seconds wondering what the hell the sound was.
All sorted now though. No more strobe party lights in my kitchen.
