qooqie@lemmy.world 6 months agoSo <1min standing ovation I can get, just appreciating the time and effort. But when it gets to be 5+ min it gives me big celebrity cult worship vibes and to me that’s a negative to others maybe a positive I suppose

Got it. Yeah the duration definitely adds an element of oddity. I have never really been comfortable witnessing that long of an ovation.
