Police departments have a problem that people routinely confess to crimes they didn't commit.
Maybe this guy did it, maybe he didn't, he should be investigated for sure so people aren't dogpiling on a normal crazy idiot.
If there's any credence to his confession then I hope he suffers for a long time. He opened up 100,000 innocent people to attack by both grassroots and establishment. I've had multiple news outlets trying to figure out my identity so they can get me fired from my job. Thankfully they're retards but I guarantee you, people are going to lose their lives over this hack one way or another.

Maybe small companies. Large companies can't take actions on that list. People within the companies would revolt.
Firing someone over sending 10$ to help some truckers would get them crucified in public opinion.
