The real danger here is a template for central backed digital currencies and an end to cash and the emergence of social credit. We must build a global alternet, and lay foundations for a future war of resistence. It seems less far fetched to imagine a world where the countries you knew mean less, and the need to unite across them to secure freedom means more.

Ironically, the same people saying "Relax, it'll be fine" are the same people who proved exactly why it won't be fine.

I absolutely don't want to drift into a situation where i am constantly alarmed and furious with left-wing politicians, and eager to settle back into normality, but every time you think its over, sanity is returning, and they're pulling back or being puahed back, they go and do something else even more extreme, and you're forced to contemplate that normal isn't voming back, and this is a dystopian sci-fi film plot. I'm as annoyed about that as i am about what they're actually saying and doing, I am hence, intensely relaxed about very late stage post-natal abortions being performed upon them.

One of my favorite posts on this site is Wolfballs isn't right wing. The reason I like it is that it helps to sort of set aside the false narrative that just because we're against what these left wingers are doing we are necessarily far right extremists.
After my name was leaked as part of the GiveSendGo hack, I reached out to my local mp, and what I asked for wasn't for them to go far right because they are a center left party, I asked them to go back to being center left.
Unfortunately, the thing that needs to happen is strategically far left needs to become toxic. And I don't mean toxic as in they say mean things, I mean toxic as in we need to start seeing far left politicians losing their jobs because people don't want far left politicians.
Arguably, the same is already happened for the right. Really, there aren't that many far-right politicians anywhere because most people won't vote for a far right politician. However, a moderate right or center right politician has a chance. The longer that the far left manages to keep the spotlight on themselves, the more people are going to realize that they don't want what those guys are selling, and I think the more powerful the backlash will be.
