The reasons this guy had a bad EV experience are either unrelated to EVs or due to lack of knowledge on how they work.
The fact that Fox was the original source of the article information isn’t surprising. Fox has a conservative bias. Conservatives don’t like EVs. The sky is blue. The Earth turns. Life goes on.
I am not a fan of EVs but I believe they would be useful if you understand their limitations and if they are more affordable.
OK, but how is this not legitimate news? At the very least it has informed people of how many hidden costs can accompany buying an EV, and has also shown the potential problems with taking road trips.
@dan1101@Lovstuhagen It's a pretty blatant example of the poisoning the well fallacy to assume that it's propaganda because it was posted by #FoxNews though. #CNN, #NBCNews, #APNews, etc. leans left, so is everything that they post propaganda too?
I’m not saying it’s propaganda. To me it’s equivalent to hearing a quack and expecting a duck. I read a negative article about EVs and expect it may be a conservative-leaning source.
I think there was some lean in CNN and definitely in NPR. NPR does some great stuff but on certain subjects you know what their angle will be. CNN isn’t going to be as left-leaning any more now that John Malone is in charge. YMMV I just know what my experience and view is, yours may differ.

And so it’s bullshit for news media to write the account of a man screwed over by electric vehicles because you don’t like it, right
And it’s bullshit for conservative media to exist…
And it’s bullshit for a conservative instance to exist
Lol

I never said any of that.

Perhaps it is even more specific to EV trucks.
