IME/IMHO when a doctor names two random food items and then says "stress," it's the stress.
Apparently lots of people who get migraines get this visual distortion. I guess the place I'd start would be stress, hydration, potassium, and calcium.
We need to get you a pipe and some Coniston Cut Flake.

Well, red wine is also on the list. The tannins in the wine and cheese and the stimulation in the chocolate. Generally, you'd avoid the stimulants except during the attack, since they'd help reroute the blood flow. But you don't want the body to be used to that effect.
I've never had migraines. He said they were asymptomatic. That is funny, migraines without the headache.
