just_kitten@aussie.zone âš7â© âšmonthsâ© agoI am currently fuming about this too. I donât even have auto update enabled on my apps so how did it happen? Turns out WhatsApp apparently can roll out server-side updates at any time??? And thereâs no way to opt out of this stupid update either.
I canât not use it either as itâs the only way I can stay in touch with most of my relatives, I canât get them to switch to Telegram or SignalâŠ

The irritating thing is that apparently the toggle switch was already there all this while. I really hope thereâs enough backlash to force meta to reintroduce it because this is total bs. The server side updates are really not cool either :/
