The evidence for masks as nuanced and complicated, and yet, conservative insisted masks were wholly ineffective, which is just false

Cloth mask are pretty ineffective. That isn’t a conservative take, that’s science. Conservatives just latched on to it but doesn’t change the science.

  The science does matter. It just happened to match what the conservatives felt.
  
  That is why Sweden did not enforce cloth masks. The science didn’t show them as effective.
