As opposed to young and terrible? Don’t get me wrong, I had his CDs and even saw him live once or twice, but he was always a ugly person.

Yes, but even unattractive people can take care of themselves. He looked unwell.

Well, he’s definitely middle aged now, and I doubt he’s lived a healthy lifestyle.
