GregorGizeh@lemmy.zip 1 year agoThat seems short sighted, for example the very popular voyager client doesn’t show any profile pictures. I wasn’t even aware those are a thing. I dont want one either though.

It’s just easier to notice than a name, but some users have eye catching names too, some use emojis for example.
