The war on drugs is historically championed by conservatives, as it was originally Reagan’s thinly veiled cover for persecuting the black and hippie communities.
Biden has pardoned thousands of non-violent drug offenders. What’s the next step you’d like to see? Be specific.

Oh evil dems, why won’t you fix 100% of america overnight?
You know why? Because every time a dem is elected they have to prioritize PULLING THE FUCKING COUNTRY OUT OF THE ECONOMIC DITCH THE PAST ADMINISTRATION HAS LEFT US IN. Are you 12?
Even a child should still remember the economic shithouse Trump left us in.
You don’t remember 2008 when the economy was fucked and Obama had to restore trust in entire segments of the economy?
Apparently you’re not a fan of history, you’d know it’s hardly an isolated event - Clinton fixing up the fuckups of Bush, FDR literally rebuilding the economy?
How is it that you’re so very vociferous about Drug reform and so very ignorant about everything else? Yeah, it’s important, but it’s on a list of other MUCH MORE IMPORTANT priorities, and also, it’s the conservatives fighting it.
So tired of idiots acting like the dems have to fix **everything **every time they take power - how about conservatives not fucking up the nation for a few terms for a change?

Given that so many voter reminisce fondly about Trump’s economy and think he’s better on the economy than Biden, I’m gonna have to disagree with the sentiment. You’re right: like all Republicans, Trump is a demonstrably worse on the economy than any democrat, but voters genuinely believe otherwise.

I think they reminisce about the racism and sexism, and just forget how bad things got because their racist sexist garbage was in the house.
And they’d happily do it again, run the country right into the ditch if it meant they could spit on POC, immigrants and anyone else they could OTHER. They’re just that petty, dim, and vindictive.

Conservatives managed to blame Bush’s economic disaster on Bill Clinton (for signing a deregulation bill sponsored and presented by 3 prominent Republicans) and Obama. Their line with Obama was “well he’s president now, it’s his responsibility!!” and accused him of tanking the economy, as if it makes ANY sense. Meanwhile you have Trump saying “I don’t take accountability for anything” and the same people think he’s great. Republicans manage to take credit for anything positive and blame anything negative on Democrats even when it has nothing to do with facts, logic or reality. It’s a trait of narcissism.

well put! we need to switch the narrative on this - price gouging and billionaires becoming massively richer are happening thanks to republican policy, we need to make them own it.

People also forget Obama’s administration had to meet with and coordinate a plan for the Great Recession with the prior Administration before Inauguration Day because it was that bad and they didn’t know what to do.
Obama literally got a headstart because of how fucked we were after W.

remember how dark it got just wondering what would be left of the economy after so many failures? And Obama came in and set things right. But he wore a tan suit, the crime of the century.
BobaFuttbucker@reddthat.com 8 months ago
That tan suit just have single-handedly rigged the 2020 election based on how much Republicans hated it.
