SonicDeathTaco@lemm.ee 2 months agoI wonder if it mostly happens when people are looking down at their phones. There is a pole on my campus that I have seen multiple people walk into while texting. Then again, my cat has been trying to fight her doppelganger in the mirror for years now and she’s smarter than a few people I know.

I kinda doubt that since this is a store. I doubt you’d be on your phone while trying to pick some shoes. It probably happened due to the angle of the mirror, as its in a corner on certain angles you wouldn’t see your reflection until the last second. If you are a fast walker it may be impossible to stop your momentum until its too late.
