We have modern technology, walking into a fast food joint and ordering from a touch screen is by far the superior experience.

Drive thru places need to install better mic and speakers. They seem to be difficult for either side to hear.
And drive thru employees need to be more patient with the customers.

if only their apps didn’t specifically go out of their way to detect that i’m running lineageOS and REFUSE to work
like straight up, mcdonald’s app told me to my face that it refused to run on a modified OS

Just do the whole order using the NATO alphabet for clarity.
I'd like a bravo india golf, mike alpha charlie, with Lima alpha romeo golf echo, foxtrot romeo india echo sierra.
After you've been ordering for 20 minutes, they'll do something about it.. Although that might not be a good thing for you.
