lath@lemmy.world 5 months agoPossibly influenced by movies and games, I’m not-me in my dreams all the time. I’ve been all kinds of people, animals, aliens, non-corporeal entities etc, but as soon as I realize it’s happening, not-me instantly becomes me.

I’m never in my dreams. My dreams are from the 3rd person perspective and play out like a movie.

They’re like a movie for me as well, but I’m directing, filming and acting in them. You could say I’m on set, creating scenes and playing them out.
