27.5k And youâll get less car for it. Itâs small, and bumping it up to 2lt puts it over 30k. Every EV itâs still more expensive, even with credits most of the time, then itâs equivalent ICE competition.

Right but with the credits mine was comparable to an equivalent ICE. So why would I ever pick the ICE car? More maintenance, have to pay more for fuel. No thanks.
Not arguing EVs are more expensive on average but if the price is the same, the only reason to go ICE is if you travel looooong distances refularly.

The credits arenât. You might find a model that say a particular time mage or a close comparison but the really is most of the the time you are sacrificing drivetrain power or features even after the EV credit + slightly lower fuel costs. And when you do have vehicles in this category itâs economy vehicles.

Less car? Itâs actually pretty big. 200 hp, tons of torque, 0-60 in 6 seconds, lots of room in the back. Fits 4 adults, car seats easily fit. Lots of headroom and leg room.
I can smoke BMWs off the line all day. And it saves me about $1,000 in fuel costs per year.

They are, but not quickly enough.
Ten years ago we got the Nissan Leaf, and now you can buy cars with 2x the range for almost half the price.

Itâs the technology curve. Weâre now at the iPhone 3GS stage. The iPhone 4 of EVs is just around the corner. It will only get better (not cheaper) from here.
