Comment on I loved the gab interview on timcast
goldenballs@wolfballs.com 2 years agoHow about monero or pirate? Not because there's anything to hide, but out of principle... The establishment hate monero because they want to ve able to identify senders and receivers to stifle or shut down alternativity... The really only real thing crypto has to offer is freedom from the mainstream system.

Is pirate another anon coin? Crypto can take power away from financial censorship. Paypal for example is pretty woke. Perhaps if I say retard to much they will ban my account.
Monero looks nice. I don't really understand it well. I'm not sure how new coins are created.

They are mined in similar ways. Pirate Chain or ARRR, is worth exploring to see if it passed muster, i am not advocating for anything in particular, but i have friends in oppressive countries and i want to find safe ways of transferring "money" to them that are not only anonymised, but also don't draw attention. The pinch point is always the conversion from crypto into fiat cash, and the underlying threat to Tether, being potentially backed by a collapsing Chinese housing market is a real and present danger to al crypto. The benefit of Pirate Chain is that its low value, lower than monero.

Its performing more like a tech stock, and not as an inflation hedge. More like shares. I tend to regard bitcoin as equivalent to music memorabilia. The elites certainly in China have done a lot to shut it down, which serves as a warning flag for the future of crypto in the west. I am inclined to see anonycoins as the most important ones. Any crypto or system that doesn't conceal the participants is of limited interest.
