  I think there is a setting on your account to hide bot posts. I was initially blocking all the bots until I found that setting and now I don’t see them at all

    There is, but I actually like some bots, like the one that posts alternate YouTube links. The only kind I don’t like are the ones that just grab reams of Reddit content.

      It made me turn off the ability to see bot account on my profile

      If I wanted to go back to Reddit I would be on Reddit

    That assumes the person running the bot account also ticked the this account is a bot checkmark.

      True. It also won’t help against malicious spam bots, but it helped me get rid of all the repost/rehost bits I was seeing when I first joined
