kromonos@fapsi.be 2 years agoI know what you mean. Sadly, they don't stop on Twitter. Especially the ones mentioned in that link. They're blackmailing and badmouthing me on Discord, Twitch, DeviantArt and everywhere, where I could find an artist to commission for my D&D blog House of Teleyal. They're stalking, spreading lies to artists I never met. Twisting my words, faking screenshots to match their bullshit. They are so full of hate and agitation that they seem to have no time left for real hobbies.
I'm not sure about Mastodon either. The Mastodon instances that are blacklisted by this Lemmy instance were also influenced by them, and their administration and moderation shows that they are absolutely not thinking and not worthy to even hold a position with decision-making power.

Yeah I also quit discord and all those big platform. Mostly for privacy and freedom reason though. But Mastodon and just the fediverse in general is much better because you can just join the community of your choice and be around people like you. And yeah you can also blacklist some other communities I guess which is also something I would consider great. But in the end it mostly comes down to the toxic mentality a lot of people have online. I think those people need to spend more time outside because when someone is online to constantly harass people and try to ruin their free time and peace they really have a problem.
