  You’ve never used one of these at the playground as a kid? It’s just a variation of (these)[en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roundabout_(play)] but with a handle to power it instead of feet.

      Seems perfectly safe to me, centrifugal forces are going to keep you in your seat unless you deliberately push yourself out at which case it’s just as dangerous as running under a seesaw or into a swing.
