My technique was rather security by obscurity: make sure to hide it somewhere inconspicuous and in a boring environment.

I got it from an online cigar shop here in Switzerland. The Cuba design was on 70% discount, so the price wasn’t ridiculous.
Security by obscurity seemed a bit too insecure while traveling😅

I literally don’t know a single cigar-smoking Swiss person, I must travel in the wrong circles :D
Cuba is a quite popular vacation destination, though, that’s the closest I can get to giving an answer
