masterofballs@wolfballs.com 2 years agoI don't want gore post. I don't consider that free speech. Its not a expression. You can't wave someone's decapitated head around a town square.

You can, if you live in Kabul. Its their govt endorsed free speech to put peoples heads on spikes in the middle of the city. Ofc privilege only applies to members of the Taliban.

I know your joking but the Taliban can host their own instance I suppose with their own cultural norms.

I agree with you, regarding pointless gore posts. Its not normal social media, and its better for them to be hosted on their own sites, for those who enjoy.
But some gore posts have real value. Like videos of sports or industrial accidents. Normally these are sanitised by newspapers and media, and people have no idea of many dangers.
People raised in such a censored safe space get into a real accident. Boom PTSD.
Same with war. A lot more Americans and people in general would be against war, and the shit Biden is trying with Russia atm, if they were exposed to the horrors of the war, instead of "clean" news reports.
Lot of people would be vegetarians if they had to see the slaughter instead of getting meat in a box.
Gore can be educational for society, in certain instances.
