  I guess it depends on what instance you're using. I'm on Mbin and I get the "deleted by original author" message.

    Thought that might be the case. A Lemmy.World bug then?

    I tried viewing it from their instance the other day, but I couldn’t.

      Possibly a bug, possibly just the way it deals with deleted threads.
