I get that completely. I used to devote most of my gaming time to Dota 2 once upon a time, so I understand. For me personally, I’m way happier having left that behind and experiencing lots of concrete and constantly new gaming experiences.
The only important thing I would say is monitoring the way it makes you feel, and the moment it’s not giving you happiness start re-evaluating. I know I kept playing Dota well past the point it was no longer making me happy, and that I do regret.
