Yes, like any other relationship.

Like the “conservative” that wants a “trad wife” who’s been shamed into staying submissive to an asshole.

Or the person that goes after vulnerable people because they’re abusive and want someone they know they can abuse.

Or like the person that goes after much younger partners because they’re manipulative, controlling, and have better luck with someone who lack the life experience to see through their bullshit.

It’s almost like in all of those scenarios there’s red flags that indicate there could (again, because apparently reading is hard: not “is” – could) be a problem. Wild.
