Not sure about that, sorry. Some people struggle to stay sober (I’m one of them, which is why I use cannabis), and will search for something legal that will allow them a little escape.

I would try to confirm what the actual cause of death was (e.g. acute liver failure could be due to excess my kratom [again not an expert], or they might find excessive meth or opioids in his system).

Without that info, I’d hold out on making assumptions. It could have been unrelated.
