Liberals become like blood and soil nationalists for ethnic groups contained within the countries of their state’s enemies, but then dress it up as decolonization. You don’t want Tibetans to be free, or Tatars, Uyghurs, Kurds, or any of those ethnic groups conveniently only in Russia, or China, or Iran. What you are actually insinuating when you say things like that is that the US or NATO or whatever should go in and support the separatist faction to balkanize those countries and weaken them.
On the off chance you don’t want that, ask yourself: what can you actually do to help [issue] in [China, Russia, Iran, DPRK, etc.]? And if you live in the West, the answer is: Almost nothing, unless you support interventionism.
