  Slate’s Joshua Keating pointed out that, while the latest haircut story is almost certainly a hoax, it isn’t without precedent. Back in 2005, North Korea launched a media campaign which argued that long hair “consumes a great deal of nutrition” and should thus be kept short.

    There haven’t been any communist countries in the past and there certainly aren’t any in the present, lol.
    
    Regardless, men aren’t forced to get the same haircut as Kim Jong un, despite dozens of western sources claiming it over the years. This is an example of the bullshit I was talking about.

    It was an exaggeration, like saying that the US is fascist, that Trump is a moron, or that Hasan Piker, or BadEmpanada, is totally absolutely undeniably right.
