The thing with Mark Rober is that he’s definitely by far the most informative and educational.

Backyard scientist, Alan Pan, William Osman, and others are kinda like high effort engineering shitposts and I love their content as well.

Most informative and educational? Ok, let’s check one of Mark Rober’s recent videos. Shittube ID 9IiYOTzJ2uw.

00:00:00 Fastest lie on the west. The kid is a paid actor, which is pretty obvious near the end.

00:00:25 Corporate cocksucking of Disney. Continues occasionally throughout the entire video.

00:01:29 - 00:03:05 “experiments” of stuff which will obviously not achieve anything. As if he didn’t learn a thing from the NASA internship he is flexing constantly, like the guy who worked at Blizzard for 7 years.

00:03:06 - 00:03:12 Skipped a plausible solution actually in need of an experiment (angling the damn thrusters) and went to one which will obviously work but not be as close to the target. That’s because he doesn’t actually care.

I don’t think I need to continue.
