I get your point, and honestly, it’s a fair one. I’m not pro slop, and I state that above.

By inundating the web with slop, AI proponents have made it really hard to post/share stuff that’s not slop.

I am, however, a shtiposter. I’ve got 4500 posts over 3.3 years. I’m simply not going to verify everything I post isnt AI. As I said, I do check usually, but theres a lack of tools to do so, and the ones that are out there that I’ve found are checks notes AI, which defeats the purpose. If you have good tools, paste them here and I’ll start using them. I’m not going on a fucking Goose hunt each time I share a meme, though.

shtiposter

slop ≠ shit

I’m simply not going to verify everything I post isnt AI.

Then expect the same reaction frequently.

the [tools] that are out there that I’ve found are checks notes AI

Yeah, those aren’t reliable and I wouldn’t advocate for their use.

If you have good tools, paste them here and I’ll start using them

Tineye and DuckDuckGo image search.

I’m not going on a fucking Goose hunt each time I share a meme, though.

“When in doubt, don’t post it” is always an option.

Tineye and DuckDuckGo image search. using their equivalents already, but I guess I can try those ones specifically.

Then expect the same reaction frequently. You do you. Half the time I don’t even read the comments on my posts.

We clearly have different viewpoints, and that’s fine, but continuing on isn’t productive. Thanks, at least, for sharing your perspective. I legitimately hope you have a good rest of your day.
