It quickly spreads underground, and puts up these thick ugly stalks, and will take over your yard in a single summer. I had a competitive friend who tried to match my beautiful garden, and planted horseradish, and lost his entire yard.

I used to know another guy that did that, so he just became the horseradish guy in the office. Once a year, he’d bring in jars of fresh horseradish, and distribute them throughout the office.
