As someone with back problems, I’ve never understood the insistence on everyone standing. Check out people, this kind of stuff, fucking everywhere. This is also why cruelty is the point.

Every grocery store in my area has their cashier’s standing up, except Aldi, they have chairs for their cashier’s.
And of course their service is awful! JK, it’s perfectly fine! Publix cashiers aren’t any better because they can stand. It’s not like they have to run around or anything. They’re stuck in the same spot for hours at a time. Why can’t they sit? I wouldn’t even notice if they didn’t have legs. Who cares? Let them sit.
