Regardless of the sentiment people feel towards the police, it doesn’t change the fact that exceedingly few people would actually confront someone in real life like that, whether they are a cop, a healthcare CEO, or an AI bro.

Plenty of people in this thread huffing pure copium that everyone who’s ever been nice to me secretly hates me, when in reality some people like (ex-)cops, some are indifferent, and some dislike them. As you say, a rare % of the latter say something about it.
