Another guy suggested putting the power and reset on the external dock I’m going to put on the desk, that shouldnt be difficult at all as I’m currently already using a custom one and extending the cables will be a breeze.

I actually use strictly hardline on this machine, I have a long history of shitty internet and houses that muck with wifi so I’m never going to bother putting a wifi card in this guy.

I’ve had some experience there, and you’re right. Over the course of this post I’ve settled on doing vents like this instead of holes. I did sheet metal fab at one point and got pretty good at straightening these angled slats out so it should be quick work to cut bend and rotate them. These were common on economy value fixtures during the era plus it will flow seamlessly into the body and that’s gonna look very professional.
