Based on how many Lemmings I see openly advocating for (and cheering) violence, this may not be a bad idea.
I certainly wouldn’t want to stand in line with a bunch of Lemmy posters who want to kill or hurt anyone who doesn’t think like they do.

It would be nice if it scares away people who are ineligible to vote from the polls. It really shouldn’t affect law abiding citizens who don’t have any phobias.

Ineligible people vote sometimes. Voter fraud happens. Hopefully the National Guard being here will make those people not an eager to go out to the polls this year.
