I can’t believe I looked into it, but I did. You’re wrong about the reasoning and they no longer have an estranged relationship. They get along. She’s going by just Miley to emulate singers like Cher and Prince.

You read a press release that had responses from him, and not her. She really really doesn’t like her dad, but for publicity reasons they remain publicly amicable as much as possible. Have you spent time with them? I have. She absolutely hasn’t forgiven her dad.
