I hear you, fellow pleb, and I was ardently politically active for decades —until, at a protest vs Bush Jr’s use of his appointed judges to put him back in office, I witnessed 4 swat pigs hogtie a 13yr old girl that was walking by the scene, and huck her in the wagon like a sack. (they also shot a senior vet w/ a “less than lethal” round in the crotch, etc. when he tried to tell them it was a “sit in”).

I try to help wherever and however I can, but I’m pretty spent at this point after all these years of burning hard toward a dream, to be frank. 🥲🙇🏼‍♂️ I give what I can these days, but it’s a fraction of what I used to give with exuberance and glowing hope inside.
