The only problem is size and bandwidth. Videos are much larger than images so they take up more space on the server. But if that video is hosted elsewhere like YouTube it won’t take up any space at all.
Only problem with YouTube on Lemmy is that the videos are often posted without a short description. If you provide that you should be fine.
