Yes, but these trans people will not go to the NHS to request gender affirming care. How can you be so consistently WRONG on literally everything?

I have heard people claim it’s possible to be trans without gender dysphoria. Really muddies the waters over what the aim is. I just want people with gender dysphoria to have it eased/cured (only if actually possible) and have a more comfortable life where they aren’t suffering. If someone learns to accept their biological sex, or if they medically transition to achieve this, either way, it’s a win. Different people likely have different needs. But hey, I’ll leave that to the medical professionals. The more we understand gender dysphoria and how to treat it, the better.

I never claimed to be talking for the transgender community. I was being transparent with my sources. Why is it impossible to have a respectful conversation about this subject?

You are correct that gender dysphoria is not necessarily something a trans person has. Prior to the current political sabotage of the gender service, the role of the NHS was to determine what gender affirming care was necessary. A lot of the anti-trans push has been to take as many of these treatments off the board as possible.
Last month the Welsh Gender Service was pressured into cancelling all gender affirming surgeries that had been booked, no consultation, just a blanket call from above that involved no medical experts in the consideration. They did this on the demands of a single Member of Senedd.

I worry that too much of a focus on what is or isn’t necessary for someone to be a trans person, verges a little on the edge of transmedicalism. There’s a broad array of trans experiences and one isn’t any more valid than another.
