glimse@lemmy.world 3 days agoI’d be more likely to follow the advice of that snark if you didn’t follow it up by suggesting I use the worst sales platform on the planet. Ebay fees are like 15-20% of the sale cost.

Alas, it is not. I wouldn’t do business with a company that charges ANY 15%+ fees on sales regardless.

Those were from memory but it looks more like 13-15% plus the listing fees and anything else. Still a full grand off the sale so my position stands
It’s insane to me that people are defending eBay, has anyone sold anything there in the past few years?? I stopped using it after feeling completely ripped off with them taking $150 on a video card sale
