As a martial artist whom grapples a lot with sweaty people in clothes that easily get ruffled; even as a hormonally unstable teenager in my earlier days of it, I don’t recollect even thoughts of sexuality no matter the gender of the opponent/sparring partner (am bi) when engaged. It’s not too odd to even unconciously prioritise not getting a broken arm over whatever the fuck I’m touching to keep them away
