I know it’s “correct”, it’s just very bad. There really is absolutely no need whatsoever for using capitalization like this. Zero defensible point to it, IMO. All it serves to do is add extra mental overhead. Just like the weird “why use many word when few ok” grammatical structure.
It only sounds extremely pretentious to me. Especially when sometimes the author doesn’t really master the language in the rest of the article. (Not saying this was the case here though.)

Because “Title Case” has its place. Its job is to make it clear you’re refering to a defined subject. There are other ways to break it up, which this article didn’t do. Placing the game’s title in quotes or something like you suggested like re-arranging so that there’s a distinct separation in the article coverage vs its subject would serve the purpose while retaining traditional print typography.
In many cases these problems are only exacerbated by link aggregators like Lemmy or Reddit too, where subheadings get stuffed into the article link as a continuous sentence.

I think title case has been made mostly obsolete online where title distinction can be made in a bazillion other, nicer ways. Especially here, where the title is basically all you see before clicking through. 🤷♂️ My two cents.
