Papazoo@piefed.ca 9 hours agoI think there’s a law in the states that criminals can’t profit from the story of their crime. If I remember correctly, the money that would have gone to the criminal goes to restitution for the victims.

Assuming that is indeed the case, she still benefits considerably: she gets to stay relevant, develop celebrity, change or affect the public opinion on her. A normal criminal cant even get a job cleaning toilets sometimes.
